Exhausted Journey, 2024

This series is hand wheel-thrown and finished with traditional Jingdezhen underglaze blue transfer. I was drawn to decal imagery for its associations with repetition, craft production and everyday affordability.

Moving between kitchen, dining table and living room, the vessels trace a quiet bodily trajectory shaped by routine and care. Their worn and slightly deformed forms gather along a fragile path, carrying the weight of domestic labour and fatigue.
